What
We Do
We create centralized virtual LAN environments and host the
network services
and application software that run on them. HSP Central delivers familiar
Windows desktops and Windows networks via a Thin-Client Microsoft Terminal Services
environment. We replace traditional capital-intensive IT investment
with subscription-based IT services. This method of network
delivery reduces the TCO of traditional distributed networks
35-50%, while expanding capability, remote access and capacity.

HSP Central allows PC-based organizations to finally answer
seemingly simple questions: Which makes more sense: 1) storing
corporate information on individual hard drives of PCs
and servers across the country or even the world, OR 2) centralizing
all corporate information into data centers where it is easily
backed up, managed, redundant, and secure? Should the IT capability
of an organization be defined by the sum total of all PC processors
and servers in a network? With the increasing rate of hardware
and software obsolescence, as well as legacy and versioning
conflicts due to increased complexity, does it make sense to
invest so heavily in IT?
In one respect, HSP Central is an old idea, made new: Dumb
terminals and cumbersome mainframes. However, our centralized
computing environments have evolved. Everything that exists
on a traditional distributed network can now be hosted in a
centralized environment. There are no new applications to purchase,
or new training required for employees. There is no new hardware to buy.
The look and feel of an HSP Central environment isnt like
or as good as
a Windows desktop environment; it is a Windows
desktop
environment. Just faster, with less down time, and significantly
cheaper. [Link to more on Thin-Client technology]
With HSP Central, clients can eliminate the personal
from personal computers and instead convert them to more efficient
information access appliances. Users have all the flexibility
and versatility they enjoy with PCs while companies reap
the rewards normally associated with the mainframe world: better
standardization, security, lower costs with superior remote
access. All communications,
documents and work flows are stored on central servers. Failed
hard drives or ancient processors now no longer affect the integrity
of corporate data, or the speed and efficacy in which it is
used.
